Mission
The Berliner Glas Group plays a leading role in selected market segments. This forms the basis for further growth and a sustainable increase in value. Companies who make technically demanding products that use light value the Berliner Glas Group as a preferred partner. With our understanding of optical systems and optical production technology, we develop, produce and integrate optics, mechanics and electronics into innovative system solutions for our customers.
We make a key contribution to the competitive strength of our customers, actively search for growth opportunities and are interested in long-term partnerships with our customers.
This is why we concentrate our activities on creating optimal conditions and requirements (structure and processes, employees) as well as on continuously improving the three so-called “key factors for excellence”:
consistent orientation towards key customers and their applications, excellent design and development as well as excellent manufacturing and procurement.
The companies in the Berliner Glas Group are organized in business fields with a clear focus on the respective market that are characterized by flat hierarchies and a high level of specialization. Every business division has its own sales, development and production/assembly department. This is the only way to ensure that we not only devote all our energy to concentrating on our customers but also know our customers' customers – in short: are at home in the market. Because only thus can we live up to our mission and contribute to our customers' competitive position.
